What: Swap Shop: The Spring Session. A one day pop-up shop for trading clothes and goods. It’s fashion and house rejuvenation in a creative economy.
What Else: $5, swap shop entry fee, plus at least one bag’s (or more) worth of swapping goods. Bring good quality stuff. Your last year’s trends, your skinny and big jeans, your hot shoes only worn once, your international prints, and more. Go home with a wardrobe’s worth of new looks.

This Spring Session of the Swap Shop, get your spring cleaning done …. bring small housewares to swap too! Bring quality housewares that simply don’t fit your household anymore and let’s make this one day pop-up shop into a real vintage thrift store!

When: Sunday, April 29, 2012 from 1:00 to 5:00pm. (Recommended, so we can organize the swap shop beforehand: clothes and goods to swap can be dropped off the weekend before (Saturday, April 21 from 9:30am to 4:00pm) at Torchlight Arts and Culture Center. ).

Where: Torchlight Arts and Culture Center, 45 E. Church Lane (in Germantown. right off Germantown Ave., 23 bus) the newest venue in the Germantown neighborhood.

OUR FIRST SWAP SHOP WAS A SUCCESS. BLOSSOM THIS SPRING AND EARLY SUMMER WITH NEW SWAPPED STYLES.

We’re inviting fashion-minded folks, artists, community leaders, mamas, papas, designers, performers, neighbors, and more to make this swap have some of the most interesting swap items in Philadelphia.. There will be light refreshments and music to swap by. Please spread the word. Forward to friends and beyond- the more folks that swap, the better the shop.

Go home with a wardrobe’s worth of new looks.

When: Sunday, February 26, 2012 from 1:00 to 4:00pm. (Recommended, so we can organize the swap shop beforehand: clothes and goods to swap can also be dropped off the weekend before (Saturday, Feb. 18 and Sunday, Feb. 19th from 2 to 5:00pm) at Torchlight Arts and Culture Center. ).

Where: Torchlight Arts and Culture Center, 42 E. Church Lane (in Germantown. right off Germantown Ave., 23 bus) the newest venue in the Germantown neighborhood.
